Ansu Fati renews Barcelona contract and now has a release clause of 1 billion Euros
Ansu Fati officially put pen to paper on a new contract at FC Barcelona which keeps him at the club until 2027.
The teenage forward, Barcelona’s new No.10 in the post-Lionel Messi era, has made a successful return from a serious injury and at the weekend showed he was back.
Today, he has also shown he is here to stay. Ansu Fati’s previous deal was due to expire at the end of the season, although the club did have an option to extend that by two years.
However, much like in Pedri’s case, the club were keen to get the player to commit to a new, longer-term deal with improved terms to reflect his newfound importance to the first team.

Emphasising that, again just like Pedri, Ansu Fati will have a one billion euro release clause in his new contract.
His renewal also underlines the new board’s commitment to rejuvenating the squad and rebuild it around its young stars.
The Spanish international has been breaking records one after the other since making his debut under Ernesto Valverde.
Ansu Fati is Barcelona’s youngest Champions League debutant, youngest Camp Nou starter and youngest LaLiga Santander scorer.
