Benchmark index ends post-holiday session unchanged at 3,305 points
The benchmark index of the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE-Composite Index) recorded no change to close at 3,305.35 points, maintaining its YTD return at 5.59%.
The GSE Financial Stocks Index also closed unmoved at 2,002.31 points.
There were no price movers on Thursday’s trading day, hence market capitalization closed at the previous day’s level of GH¢75.96 billion.
In total, some 729,142 shares (up 983.07%) corresponding to a value of GH¢1,090,884.20 (up 1124.14%) were traded, as seventeen (17) stocks exchanged hands.
MTNGH trades dominated today’s session, trading 674,301 shares and surpassing the 34,030 traded in RGBH with a value of GH¢16,334.40.
ETI, SCB and CAL were the final 3 of the 5 most traded stocks on Thursday.
