Benchmark index ends Tuesday’s trading session unchanged at 3,744 points, posting 19.64% YTD returns

The benchmark index of the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSEComposite Index) remained on the day closing at
3,744.97 points, posting a YTD return of 19.64%.

Similarly, the GSE Financial Stocks Index recorded no change to end the day at 2,038.44 points, keeping its YTD return at 7.20%.

GLD’s price continues its volatile run, this time gaining GH¢5.25 to close at GH¢346.25. Market capitalization remained constant to sit at GH¢83,754.38 billion.

In terms of trade activity, a total turnover of GH¢ 19,540,646.50 (up 24579.59%) was recorded from the exchange of eleven (11) different equities.

Total volume traded also increased to 9,095,535 compared to the previous day.

There were outstanding offers for ACCESS, MTNGH, FML, SOGEGH and GGBL at GH¢4.80, GH¢1.80, GH¢3.19 GH¢1.54 and GH¢4.44 respectively.
