BOPP records 35 pesewas gain as it emerges sole gainer on local bourse on Wednesday

The GSE Composite Index fell by 1.31 points to close at 2,437.43 points from 2,438.74 points where it opened for trading, representing a YTD  return of -0.26%.

The GSE-FSI on the other hand remained unchanged  at 2,047.15 points, representing a YTD return of -0.26%. 

Wednesday’s trading session ended with one (1) gainer which is the Benso Oil Palm Plantation PLC. (BOPP).

BOPP closed the trading day as the  sole gainer as it advanced by GH¢0.35 to close at GH¢8.00 per share, recording a year-to-date increase of 4.58% in share price.

On the other hand, UNIL led the losers’, losing GH¢0.35 to close  at GH¢3.15 per share. GOIL followed with a decline of GH¢0.01 to close  at GH¢1.71 per share.

Market capitalization of the GSE for the day, settled at  GH¢64.59 billion.

Activity in Scancom PLC (MTNGH)  continues to top the trading chat with 45.53% of the total value traded.
