Brigadier-General Paul Tanye-Kulono Appointed Acting Director-General of GPHA
Brigadier-General Paul Tanye-Kulono has been appointed as the Acting Director-General of the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority (GPHA).
His appointment, made by President John Mahama, was announced in a statement dated February 7, 2025, by the Acting Spokesperson for the President, Felix Kwakye Ofosu.
Brigadier-General Tanye-Kulono Esq. currently serves as the Deputy Commandant of the National College of Defence Studies (NCDS). Throughout his career, he has held key leadership positions, including roles in peacekeeping operations.
He previously served as Deputy Force Provost Marshal and Officer in Charge of Special Investigations at the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) Headquarters.
His appointment comes at a time when GPHA is seeking to enhance operational efficiency and strengthen security at Ghana’s ports.
