Declan Rice Calls for Big Performance from Partey to Help Arsenal Reach Champions League Final

Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice has emphasized the crucial role Thomas Partey will play if the Gunners are to secure a spot in the UEFA Champions League final. As they prepare to face Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in the second leg of their semi-final, Arsenal trails 1-0 after Ousmane Dembélé’s decisive goal in the first leg at the Emirates.

Partey, who missed the initial match due to suspension, is set to return and is viewed as a vital asset for Arsenal’s hopes. Rice stated during a press conference, “We will need a big performance from Thomas Partey to beat PSG and reach the Champions League final.”

The England international praised Partey’s composure on the pitch, saying, “One of the best things about him is how calm he is and the calmness he brings to the team. It’s really special to play with a player like him.”

Partey, who joined Arsenal from Atlético Madrid in 2020, has been a key figure in the midfield, and his presence is expected to bolster the team as they aim for their first Champions League final since 2006, when they lost to Barcelona.
