GSE-CI remains at 3,172 points on the second trading day of the week
The benchmark index of the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE-Composite Index) concluded Tuesday’s session at 3,172.43 points to return 1.35%.
The GSE Financial Stocks Index likewise remained unchanged ending the day at 1,910 points.
No stock saw movement in their price on the trading day and market capitalization remained at GH¢74.42 billion.
In total, 83,570 shares (down 58.07%), valued at GH¢401,019.93 (up 222.45%) were traded, as sixteen (16) stocks exchanged hands.
TOTAL equity trades dominated today’s trading session, trading 35,692 shares, edging MTNGH which traded 33,055 shares valued at GH¢46,277.
IIL, ETI, and SIC followed in the activity pile to complete the top 5 traded stocks for the day.
