EGX ends week on mixed note
The Egyptian Stock Exchange’s (EGX) indices witnessed mixed performance on July 29th.
The benchmark index EGX 30 decreased 0.25% to close at 10,742.23 points.
The small and medium-sized enterprises index EGX 70 went up 1.79% to close at 2,763.58 points, while the broader index EGX 100 closed at 3,742, points, marking an increase of 1.22%.

Trading volume reached 658 million shares executed through 62,509 transactions, with a total value of EGP 2.110 billion. Market capitalization amounted to EGP 701.617 billion.
Egyptian investors made up 87.27% of total transactions, while foreign and Arab investors accounted for 7.49% and 5.25%, respectively.
Individuals represented 82.31% of total trades, while institutions contributed to 17.68%.
