The Egyptian Stock Exchange’s (EGX) indices witnessed a mixed performance on March 25.
The benchmark index EGX 30 increased 2.2% to close at 10,870.46 points.
The small and medium-sized enterprises index EGX 70 went down 0.67% to close at 1.842.89 points, while the broader index EGX 100 closed at 2,788.93 points, marking a decrease of 0.22%.
Trading volume reached 439 million shares executed through 37,652 transactions, with a total value of EGP 818.769 million. Market capitalization amounted to EGP 651.648 billion.
Egyptian investors made up 74.5% of total transactions, while foreign and Arab investors accounted for 18.47% and 7.02%, respectively.
Individuals represented 72.10% of total trades, while institutions contributed to 27.89%.
