Enterprise Group price gain adds GHS 35m to stock market capitalisation

Enterprise Group PLC.(EGL) was the sole gainer as on the stock market as it appreciated in price by 7.53% gaining GH¢ 0.21 from an opening price of GHS 2.79 to close Monday’s trading session at GH¢3.00.

Due to this, market capitalization of the GSE inched up by GH¢35.89 million to close trading at GH¢64.24 billion.

At the close of trading session on Monday, a total of 126,481 shares valued at GH¢125,747.21 were traded in eleven (11) equities compared to 1,012,020 shares valued at GH¢1,854,295.19 which exchanged hands on Friday with Cal Bank PLC.(CAL) recording the largest  share of trades, accounting for 48.5% of the total value traded.

Meanwhile, the benchmark GSE Composite Index (GSE-CI) opened the week with a  3.43 points gain to close trading at 2,765.46 representing a YTD return of  -0.86%.

The GSE Financial Stock Index (GSE-FSI) also gained 6.23 points to  close trading at 2,152.99 also translating into a YTD return of 0.05%.
