Former Director for the African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank), Kofi Adomakoh, has been named the new Managing Director (MD) of State-owned Ghana Commercial Bank (GCB).
His appointment as the new Managing Director of GCB was contained in a circular to shareholders of the bank.
Mr Adomakoh prior to the circular issued to the bank’s shareholders, had secured clearance from the Bank of Ghana (BoG) as GCB’s new MD.
He replaces Mr Anselm Adzete Sowah as the new MD.
Mr Adomakoh has 25 years experience in banking and holds an MBA in Business Administration and a BA (Hons) in Agricultural Economics.
