GFA unveils new logo for the Ghana Premier League
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) on Thursday, August 18, 2022 released a new logo for the nation’s men premier football competition following the headline sponsorship takeover by betPawa.
Ahead of the commencement of the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League, the GFA has unveiled the official logo for the competition.
As a new dawn beckons, the Ghana FA in the off-season announced that it has reached a deal with the betting platform, betPawa to become the official headline sponsor of the Premier League after clubs competed in the league last season without a headline sponsor.
Earlier this month, Africa’s leading betting company betPawa signed a three-year deal worth $6 million with the Ghana Football Association to become the headline sponsor of the Premier League.
The logo which contains the traditional colours of Ghana; red, yellow, green and black has an eagle in a ball with the inscription “betPawa Premier League”.
The 2022/23 betPawa Ghana Premier League season is scheduled to commence on the weekend of September 9 to September 11, 2022 after the GFA released the fixture schedule some weeks ago.
