On Friday, Aduana FC made it back to wins after a rough start to the season as Yahya Mohammed’s powerful freekick secured all three points for the Dormaa based against Legon Cities.
It was an all new comers affair at the Duns Park as Bibiani Gold Stars returned to winning ways after back to back defeats, securing all three points against Accra Lions courtesy goals from Frank Adjei Jnr and lethal forward Prince Kwabena Owusu.
In Tamale, Real Tamale United recorded an important win in a crunch tie against Ashantigold, after Ishmael Nketiah and Yusif Nurudeen hit the back of the net.
Dreams FC were stunned 3-1 defeat at the hands of Bechem United after taking a 5th-minute lead. Goals from inform Avornyo, Augustine Okrah and Obuoba enough to move the Hunters up to qhird place after five games.
Table toppers Kumasi Asante Kotoko dropped points for the first time this season as they were held to a goalless draw at Karela. The defensive unit of Asante Kotoko were impressive after clearing off two goal scoring opportunities. Richard Boadu ‘Agadass’ was red carded after stopping a build up that could have resulted in a goal.

Elmina Sharks, Accra Lions and defending champions Hearts of Oak on the half are at the bottom of the league.
