GOIL records GHS 387m gross profit; grows assets to GHS 3bn
State-owned Oil Marketing Company (OMC), GOIL, recorded a gross profit of GHS 387m at the end of the third quarter of 2022.
The recorded gross profit was an increment of some GHS 148m from that of Q3 2021’s gross profit of GHS 239m.
The company’s net profit after deductions of expenses and taxation, amounted to some GHS 81m up from the previous year’s GHS 49m.
Regarding its total assets, GOIL for the review period grew its total assets value from GHS 1.9bn in Q3 2021 to GHS 3.05bn in Q3 2022 respectively.
Of the OMC’s assets value, current and non-current assets amounted to GHS 1.3bn and GHS 1.6bn respectively.
Total liabilities also within the review period was GHS 2.4bn with current and non-current liabilities accounting for GHS 2.3bn and GHS 122m respectively.
