Government suspends payment of salaries for September
The Controller and Accountant General’s Department has suspended payment of salaries of government workers for the month of September.
The suspension of salaries for the month of September, the Controller and Accountant General said in a statement, is due to ongoing validation process of bank names of employees on government’s payroll.
Affected employees are required to among others, submit their appointment letter, current posting letter, national identification card, pay-slips for the last 3 months and a voided cheque leaflet of their bank account to the Payroll Coordination Unit of the Department.
