GPL: Prosper Ogum wins coach of the month award
Head coach for Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Dr Prosper Narteh Ogum has been voted the NASCO Coach of the Month for the second time this season.
Coach Ogum who won the November edition of the monthly awards, led his team to an unbeaten run in January.
Asante Kotoko played five matches in the month of January; winning four and drawing one, picking up 13 points in the process.
They started 2022 with a bang as they got their first win in Dormaa against Aduana Stars, winning 2-0.
They then went on to beat their city rivals Ashanti Gold by 3-1 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

The only draw that was picked was in Berekum when they drew blank with Berekum Chelsea.
Medeama was up next on the victim list as they edged them out by a goal to nil at the Baba Yara Stadium.
The Porcupine Warriors rounded up their fixtures in January as they beat Accra Great Olympics by 2-0 in an entertaining game at the Baba Yara Stadium.
With his sides impressive record, Coach Ogum beat off competition from Umar Abdul Rabi of Medeama SC, Karela FC’s Bismark Kobby Mensah and Kassim Mingle of Bechem United.
Coach Narteh Ogum will receive a 43 inch NASCO television set from Electroland Ghana Limited as the prize for the award.
