GSE-CI closes at 3,172 points; YTD returns maintained at 1.36%
The benchmark index of the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE-Composite Index) recorded no change to maintain its YTD return at 1.36%.
The GSE Financial Stocks Index likewise closed at the same level it opened after no price movements were observed across the finance stocks at the day’s end, recording 1,910.63 points.
There were no gainers nor decliners on this trading day keeping market capitalization at GH¢74.42 billion.
Overall, 26,907 shares (down 88.57%), valued at GH¢59,355.61 (down 91.63%) were traded, as thirteen (13) stocks
exchanged hands.
MTNGH trades dominated today’s trading session with a trading volume of 16,337 shares worth GH¢22,871.80.
