GSE-CI gains again; returns 45.55% YTD
The benchmark GSE Composite Index (GSE-CI) maintained its positive run as it gained 7.18 points to close trading at 2,826.07 points representing a YTD return of 45.55%.
The GSE Financial Stock Index (GSE-FSI) also gained 13.05 points to close trading at 2,102.99 points also translating into a YTD return of 17.96%.
Ecobank Transnational Inc. (ETI) gained GH¢0.01 to close trading at GH¢0.11 representing a YTD gain of 37.50% and pushing the GSE’s market capitalization up by GH¢240.68 million to close at GH¢64.34 billion representing a growth of 18.41% in 2021.

In all, a total of 105,409 shares valued at GH¢119,017.85 was traded in thirteen (13) equities, a decrease of 53.37% and 48.42% in volumes and values traded respectively compared to yesterday.
Scancom PLC. (MTNGh) recorded the largest share of trades, accounting for 57.7% of total value traded.
