 GSE-CI rallies 82.43 points to close at 2,448 points on Monday

The Ghana Stock Exchange’s Composite Index (GSE-CI) gained 82.43 points to close trading at 2,448.32 points representing a YTD return of  -12.23%.

The GSE-FSI maintained its level to close at 2,068.16 points, translating into a YTD return of-3.89%. 

A total of 540,533 shares were traded across fifteen (21) counters with  two (2) gainers registered on the day.

Scancom PLC. (MTNGH) and NewGold (GLD) gained GH¢0.07 and GH¢9.90 to close at GH¢0.87 and GH¢255.00 respectively.

Scancom  PLC. (MTNGH) emerged as the most traded stock at the close of  trading, accounting for 87.20% of the total volume traded whilst NewGold (GLD) accounted for 96.97% of the total value traded.
