GSE-CI remains unchanged to close at 2,460 points

The Ghana Stock Exchange’s Composite Index (GSE-CI) did not record any change to close trading at 2,460.44 points representing a YTD return of -11.79%.

The GSE Financial Stock  Index (GSE-FSI) also maintained its level to close at 2,068.16 points, translating into a YTD return of-3.89%. 

NewGold (GLD) ended today’s trading session as the sole gainer  as it moved up by GH¢7.00 to close at GH¢198.60. Market capitalization for the day settled at GH¢64.50 billion.

A total of 29,007 shares were traded across sixteen (16) counters. These trades cumulated in a turnover of  GH¢747,762.81.

SIC Insurance Company Ltd. (SIC) emerged as  the most traded stock at the close of trading and accounted for  36.06% of the total volume traded whilst NewGold (GLD)  accounted for 94.02% of the total value traded.
