GSE: Financial Stocks Index loses ground on third trading day

The GSE Financial Stocks Index also saw a marginal decline, closing at 2,005.35 points after losing 0.46 points, with a YTD return of minus 2.30%.

The GSE Composite Index also saw a slight decline on the third trading day of the week, losing 0.25 points to close at 2,405.09, resulting in a year-to-date return of minus 1.59%.

GCB Bank PLC (GCB) performed poorly, with its stock price dropping by GH¢0.01 to close at GH¢3.50 per share.

The total value traded also saw a significant increase, totaling GH¢1,757,083.99. GCB Bank PLC (GCB) dominated the trading chart, accounting for 99.67% of the total value traded with 500,349 shares valued at GH¢1,751,222.67.

Scancom PLC (MTNGH) was the next largest trade, with 2,406 shares valued at GH¢2,117.28.
