GSE record 76.70 points dip week on week to close at 3,050.73 returns 24.83% YTD

The GSE-Composite Index declined marginally by 2.45% while the GSE-Financial Stocks Index similarly dipped by 1.78% over the week, bringing their respective year-to-date performances to 24.83% and -17.51%.

Due to a rather slow performance over the week, there was a GH¢833.90 million slump in market capitalization from the previous week, seeing it settle at GH¢72.88 billion.

This week, a total of twenty-six (26) equities were traded with GCB, SCB and FML earning GH¢0.10, GH¢0.05 and GH¢0.04 to close at GH¢3.40, GH¢13.55 and GH¢1.36 respectively.

Conversely, there were GH¢0.05, GH¢0.28 and GH¢0.50 losses for MTNGH, ACCESS and EGH respectively their respective prices ending the week at GH¢1.50, GH¢3.00 and GH¢4.90.

A total of 1,235,452 shares cumulating to a value of GH¢2,038,053.81 were traded during the week representing a
78.82% and 77.71% slump in volume and value traded from the previous week.

Scancom PLC. (MTNGH) traded the most volumes this week, totaling ¢153,898.98 in traded value and constituting 54.56% of the week’s total traded value.
