The Ghana Stock Exchange’s Composite Index (GSE-CI) after a three day streak of remaining unchanged was down at close of trading session today by  94.55 points to close trading at 2,365.89 points representing a YTD return of  -15.18%.

The GSE-FSI maintained its level to close at 2,068.16  points, translating into a YTD return of -3.89%.

Four (4) counters recorded price movement. GLD and BOPP gained GH¢16.20 and GH¢0.01 to close at GH¢254.00 and GH¢6.91 respectively.

GOIL and MTNGH shaved off GH¢0.01 and GH¢0.08 off its price to close the session at GH¢1.76  and GH¢0.80 respectively.

A total of 239,123 shares were traded across fifteen (15) counters.

These trades cumulated in a turnover of GHS, 1,989,575.34.

MTN emerged as the most traded stock at the close of trading, accounting for 81.69% of the total volume traded whilst NewGold accounted for 83.43% of the total value traded.
