Hearts of Oak officially unveil Suley Muntari after signing him on a free transfer
Accra Hearts of Oak has announced the signing Ghanaian midfielder Suley Muntari in a twitter post on Tuesday afternoon with visuals of him being spotted with the Hearts of Oak Jersey.
Muntari returns to the Ghana Premier League after 22 years, having starred for boyhood club Liberty Professionals before leaving to Udinese in 2001.
The 37-year-old makes a return to professional football after leaving Spanish Segunda side Albacete in 2019.
Muntari signed a deal until the end of the season with the option to extend based on his performance after several days of training with the club.

Speaking at the post match interview after Sunday’s win over King Faisal, head coach of the club, Samuel Boadu said Muntari’s move will bring a lot of difference to the club.
“Sulley Muntari is a motivator and I like the way he speaks to the players. If he joins the team things will change”, he told StarTimes.
Sulley Muntari has played for a host of clubs in his illustrious career such as Liberty Professionals, Udinese, Portsmouth, Inter Milan, AC Milan, Sunderland among other top clubs.
Muntari has won seven trophies including the UEFA Champions League with Inter Milan under Jose Mourinho, two Serie A titles and the English FA Cup.
