Ibrahim Danlad is ready for Black Stars call-up – Prosper Nartey
Head coach for Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Dr. Prosper Nartey Ogum, has thrown his support behind goalkeeper Ibrahim Danlad to make the final Black Stars squad for the 2022 World Cup Play-off against Nigeria later this month.
The Ghana Football Association is expected to release the provisional squad submitted by coach Otto Addo for the double-header this week and many think the young goalkeeper will make the list.
Speaking after their league game against Bechem United on Wednesday, Dr. Prosper Nartey said he believed the player was ready to play in the National team.

“He is a talented goalkeeper and he has some good leadership qualities,” Nartey Ogum said.
“He is good with his feet and hands and I think he is ready for the National call-up.”
The Asante Kotoko goalkeeper was previously included in the Black Stars squad for the AFCON qualifiers by then head coach C.K Akonnor but is yet to make his Black Stars debut.
Ghana will play Nigeria at the Cape Coast Stadium on Friday March 25, before the second leg will take place in Abuja, Nigeria on Tuesday 29th March.
