GSE-CI remains flat to close at 2,545.48 points

The Ghana Stock Exchange Composite Index [GSE-CI] did not record any change on the first trading day of  the week, as it closed at the same mark as it opened at 2,545.48 points representing a YTD return of -8.74%.

The GSE Financial Stock Index  (GSE-FSI) also maintained its value to close trading at 2,176.97 points translating into a YTD return of 1.17%. 

Five (5) equities traded, ending with no gainer nor decliner as market capitalization of the Accra bourse settled at GH¢ 64.84 billion for the day. 

A total of 30,387 shares valued at GH¢26,506.20 was traded on the day. Compared with the previous GSE trading day (July 1), Monday’s data shows an 87.10% improvement in volume traded and 6.95% improvement in trade turnover.

Meanwhile, Scancom PLC. (MTNGH) accounted  for 81.88% of the total value traded and recorded the largest volumes traded.
