Letting Messi go was a bad decision – Bartomeu to Laporta
Following Lionel Messi’s exit from Barcelona over the summer, the club’s former president Bartomeu has been left unimpressed with current president Laporta’s work at the job.

“They let Messi leave and that seems like a bad decision to me,” Bartomeu said speaking to Sport and Mundo Deportivo.

“As president, I didn’t want Messi to leave and I did everything I could to prevent it from happening.”
