Local bourse gains 58 points over the week to close at 3,195 points; YTD returns on equities rise to 30.75% 

The GSE Composite Index (GSE-CI) end the week at 3,195.46 points representing a climb of 58.06 points and a YTD return of 30.75%.

Similarly, the GSE Financial Stock Index (GSE-FSI) advanced by 40.43 points to close the week at 2,042.09 points and return -0.51%.

Twenty-five (25) equities traded over the week with 4 recording price movements week-on-week.

EGH, MTNGH and TOTAL advanced, earning GH¢0.80, GH¢0.03 and GH¢0.01 to close at GH¢7.00, GH¢1.40 and GH¢9.00 respectively.

CAL lost 4 pesewas (GH¢0.04) over the week to settle at GH¢0.51.

Effectively, market Capitalization increased by 631.19 million higher to close at GH¢74.50 billion. A total of 918,577 shares worth GH¢1,459,431.10 were traded during the week.
