Local bourse records 10.95 points dip WoW to close at 3,061.68; returns 25.28% YTD

The GSE-Composite Index declined marginally by 0.36% while the GSE-Financial Stocks Index similarly dipped by 0.92% over the week, bringing their respective year-to-date performances to 25.28% and -18.27%.

Market activity was buoyant over the week resulting in a GH¢119.05 million climb in market capitalization from the previous week, to settle at GH¢72.998 billion.

This week, a total of twenty-five (25) equities were traded with TOTAL, BOPP, GCB and SOGEGH earning GH¢2.20, GH¢1.40, GH¢0.10 and GH¢0.10 topping the week at GH¢2.40, GH¢15.40, GH¢3.50 and GH¢0.90 respectively.

Conversely, there were GH¢0.28 and GH¢0.58 declines recorded for GGBL and EGH respectively with their respective prices ending the week at GH¢2.52 and GH¢4.32.

A total of 83,744,573 shares with a corresponding turnover of GH¢108,831,486.87 were traded during the week.

This represents a 6678.46% and 5239.97% jump in volume and value traded from the previous week.
