GSE records no gainers and decliners; posts -14.34% YTD returns

The Accra Bourse did not record any change closing at the same  mark as it opened at 2,389.48 points representing a YTD return of  -14.34s%. 

The GSE Financial Stock Index (GSE-FSI) also maintained its  value to close trading at 2,078.76 points translating into a YTD  return of -3.40%.

Tuesday’s trading activities saw fourteen (14) equities traded, ending with no gainer nor decliner as market capitalization for the day settled at GHS 62.61 billion. 

In all, a total of 156,768 shares valued at GHS 508,096.09 was traded on the day.

Compared with the previous GSE trading day (August 8),  Tuesday’s data shows a 76.81% decline in volume traded and 80.07% decline in trade turnover.

Meanwhile, Standard Chartered Bank [SCB] accounted for 70.24% of the total value traded whilst Societe  Generale (SOGEGH) recorded the largest volumes  traded.
