MoH to receive $2.4 million in refund from botched Sputnik V vaccine purchase
The Ministry of Health (MoH) is expected to receive some $2.47 million in refunds from His Highness (H.H) Sheikh Ahmed Dalmook Al Maktoum, who served as the middle-man in Ghana’s acquisition of the Sputnik V vaccine from the Russian Government.
This follows a request for a refund by the Health Ministry from His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Dalmook Al Maktoum.
The amount to be refunded by H.H. Dalmook Al Maktoum, forms the remaining balance of the 50 percent advance payment made by the Health Ministry of the total $2.85 million price for the 300,000 doses of Sputnik V vaccine to be delivered to Ghana.
