MTN FA Cup: Aduana pip Kotoko; Dreams march on
The crunch game of the Round of 16 fixtures of the MTN FA Cup saw Aduana Stars pip Asante Kotoko to progress to the quarter finals after a 1-0 victory in Dormaa on Sunday, February 26 2023.

The game which was a two sided affair provided both sides with opportunities Kotoko but Aduana were gallant in defense as they repelled all threats posed by the Porcupines.
Aduana were the better side in the first half and came closer to scoring but were unfortunate as the first half ended in a stalemate.
Back from recess, Aduana were awarded a penalty in the 60th minute and Sam Adams who was having a moment to remember converted nicely to break the deadlock.
The Ogya boys held on to that solitary goal to knock Kotoko out of the competition and continue their quest for a double this season.
Elsewhere, Dreams FC had a commanding victory over Division One League side, Liberty Professionals, at home to also book a place in the next stage.
Ali Huzaf was on the scoresheet for the Dawu based side before Liberty recorded an own goal as they suffered elimination.
Kofi Kordzi scored the winning penalty for Legon Cities against Volta Rangers after playing out a 1-1 draw at full-time.
Ebusua Dwarfs secured a slot in the last eight with a narrow victory over Kotoku Royals while Skyy FC were 2-1 winners over Heart of Lions.
Nsoatreman won 7-6 on penalties against Debibi United after coming from behind to take the game to extra time.
Real Tamale United and King Faisal also sailed through with victories over Samartex and Steadfast FC respectively.
