Overall, the market showed strong turnover concentration in a few counters, particularly NewGold, MTN Ghana, GCB Bank and Standard Chartered Bank.

Price movement was relatively limited, with CAL Bank and Societe Generale Ghana posting gains, while NewGold, Republic Bank Ghana and Enterprise Group closed lower.

The session reinforces the current structure of trading on the Accra bourse, where market value remains heavily driven by a few liquid counters and exchange-traded products.

For investors, Tuesday’s session points to continued appetite for MTN Ghana and selected financial stocks, while NewGold remains a key driver of market value despite its marginal price decline.

The broader signal is that liquidity remains present on the market, but trading continues to be concentrated in a small group of high-value and high-volume securities.
