Nigeria names 25-man squad to face Ghana in 2022 World Cup play offs
The Super Eagles of Nigeria through Technical Director, Austin Eguavoen, has announced their squad to face the Black Stars of Ghana in this month’s World Cup qualifiers.
Odion Ighalo and Victor Osimhen, who both missed the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations lead the attack that also includes Samuel Chukwueze, Moses Simon, Ahmed Musa, Sadiq Umar, Kelechi Iheanacho and Emmanuel Dennis.
Ademola Lookman, who just completed a nationality switch from England, also makes the squad with Taiwo Awoniyi who had a spectacular AFCON 2021 remains in the stand which includes 6 other players.

Ghana will host the first leg on Friday March 25, 2022 at the Cape Coast Stadium before going to Abuja for the second leg on Tuesday March 29, 2022.

Goalkeeper: Maduka Okoye, Francis Uzoho, Daniel Akpeyi
Defenders: William Ekong, Kenneth Omeruo, Leon Balogun, Ola Aina, Semi Ajayi, Zaidu Sanusi and Shehu Abdullahi.
Midfielders: Wilfred Ndidi, Joe Aribo, Frank Onyeka, Akinkunmi Amoo.
Forwards: Ahmed Musa, Moses Simon, Samuel Chukwueze, Victor Osimhen, Sadiq Umar, Kelechi Iheanacho, Emmanuel Dennis and Ademola Lookman.
