F1® Authentics, operated by Mement
The auction featured a Dragon Ball x McLaren promotional flag signed by Akira Toriyama, alongside race-worn suits from Lewis Hamilton and Michael Schumacher and a striking Ford Cosworth V10 engine table amongst many more sought-after racing artifacts.
A Legendary Dragon Ball Z x McLaren Flag
The promotional flag was illustrated and signed by the legendary artist and creator of Dragon Ball, Akira Toriyama, in 1990 and sold for £60,000. Originally gifted to Ekrem Sami, former Head of Marketing at McLaren F1® Team, this flag is one of a very limited number believed to exist. The artwork was created specifically by Toriyama, featuring characters such as Goku, Bulma, Master Roshi, Kid Goku, and Krillin alongside the McLaren-Honda MP4/5B, number 28, famously driven by Gerhard Berger.
The flag displays the Weekly Shonen Jump logo and Japanese text reading “ジャンプ” at the top and “必勝” at the bottom, meaning “certain victory.” Preserved in flawless condition for over three decades, its new owner has secured a piece that represents a rare fusion of Japanese Manga and Formula 1® history.

Lewis Hamilton 2011 McLaren F1® Team Race Suit
Collectors also competed for Lewis Hamilton’s 2011 McLaren F1® Team race suit, which sold for £49,500. This suit was worn during a season in which Hamilton secured three Grand Prix victories and finished fifth in the Drivers’ World Championship.
Expertly mounted and presented in a premium display frame, the suit has been preserved as a sporting artefact; serving as a reminder of Hamilton’s resilience during the 2011 season and his ongoing chase for excellence that would later see him equal and surpass records once thought untouchable. To make it even more exclusive, it features a signature from the British legend himself.

Michael Schumacher 2010 Mercedes Race-Issued Suit
Michael Schumacher’s 2010 Mercedes AMG Petronas F1® Team race-issued suit, which sold for £15,500, marked the seven-time World Champion’s return to Formula 1® after retiring in 2006. While the season was a building year for Mercedes, the suit represents the foundation of a team pushing towards the modern era as they would go on to dominate the sport.
Prepared to full competition specifications and race-issued, this suit offered collectors an authentic connection to the start of a new chapter in both Schumacher’s career and Mercedes F1® history.

Ford Cosworth CR 3.0L V10 Engine Table
Finally, the Ford Cosworth CR 3.0L V10 engine table sold for £14,000 and offered a striking way to experience one of Formula 1®’s most iconic power units. Crafted around a genuine 90-degree Cosworth CR 3.0L V10 engine, the table highlights the engine’s block, heads, cam cover, and gold insulation foil, while being stripped of its internal rotating assembly for display.
This table celebrates the V10s used by Stewart, Ford, Jaguar, and Red Bull Racing, offering a glimpse into the engineering and history behind the engine family that defined an era of high-revving, powerful Formula 1® performance. Encased in plexiglass, it functions as both a sculptural showpiece and a connection to the technical heartbeat of F1®.
