Registration of Ghana Card suspended by the NIA
The National Identification Authority (NIA) has suspended the registration of the Ghana Card for a period of nine (9) days.
The suspension of the registration service the Authority notes in a press release sighted by norvanreports begins Monday, October 25 to Tuesday, November 2, 2021.
According to the NIA, this is to allow for the deployment of staff to its permanent offices across the country.
“The suspension of services at all the GRA and RGD offices has become necessary as the NIA prepares to deploy staff to its permanent offices nationwide.
“This arrangement is designed to enable NIA to bring its various services including new registrations, card collection or issuance, card replacement and update of personal records to the doorstep of the populace,” noted the NIA.
