SIC decline in share price

SIC at the close of trading on Wednesday, April 27, recorded a decline in its share price.

The equity posted a 3.85% decline in share price.

On the back of the fall in its share price, SIC ended trading activities on the local bourse with a closing stock price of 25 pesewas, 1 pesewas less the opening price of 26 pesewas.

Despite the fall in share price, the stock maintains a positive year-to-date returns f 212.5%.

On the back of the decline in the equity price of SIC, the benchmark GSE Composite Index (GSE-CI) decreased by 0.19 points to close at 2,698.88 representing a YTD return of -3.24%.

The GSE Financial Stock Index (GSE-FSI) also lost 0.34 points to close at 2,223.67 representing a YTD return of 3.34%.

 Market capitalization for the day settled at GH¢64.06 billion. 

A total of159,521 shares valued at GH¢81,323.10 was traded on the day with Scancom PLC. (MTNGH) recording the largest share of trades per value as it accounted for 42.16% of the total value traded.
