Societe Generale dominates Tuesday’s trading session on GSE

Trades in Societe Generale Ghana (SOGEGH) equity dominated Tuesday’s session with traded shares of 117,109, surpassing the 96,285 traded in CAL with a value of GH¢48,142.5.

MTNGH, RGBH and DASPHARMA followed in the activity pile to complete the top 5 traded stocks on the day.

DASPHARMA earned GH¢0.03 to close at GH¢0.36 on Tuesday.

Resultantly, the market capitalization of the GSE grew marginally by GH¢2.54 million to close at the GH¢74.82 billion mark.

A total of 233,142 shares (up 533.42%) corresponding to a value of GH¢252,376.51 (up 382.90%) were traded, as fourteen (14) stocks exchanged hands.

Meanwhile, the benchmark index of the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE-Composite Index) increased by 0.23 points to close Tuesday’s session at 3,191.40 points keeping its YTD return at 1.95%.
