Stock market remains flat for second trading day
For a second day running, the benchmark GSE Composite Index (GSE-CI) did not record any changes as it closed at 2,554.79 points representing a YTD return of -8.41%.
The GSE Financial Stock Index (GSE-FSI) also maintained its value to close trading at 2,192.57points translating into a YTD return of 1.89%.
Twelve (12) equities traded, ending with one (1) gainer. NewGold (GLD) was the sole gainer as it gained GH¢0.90 to close trading at GH¢144.50.
Market capitalization for the day settled at GH¢62.28 billion.
A total of7,613,539shares valued at GH¢6,854,715.59 was traded on the day. Scancom PLC.
