President Akufo-Addo, has asserted that Ghana’s economic prospects looks bright given the measures outlined by his government to quicken the pace of the country’s economic recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic.
The president wishing Ghanaians a happy Easter Celebrations in a televised address, stated the Ghanaian economy will return to the rapid growth witnessed prior to the advent of the pandemic.
“Because of the impact of the pandemic on the economy, I know things are not as we would want it. But I believe that the measures outlined by my government to revitalize the economy will ensure that the rapid economic growth witnessed before the pandemic is brought back again [sic],” he averred.
“Just as Christ is risen, Ghana will also rise. The future is bright,” the president added.
Speaking further, the president urged Ghanaians to continue strict adherence to the Covid-19 safety protocols amid the Easter festivities to avoid increments in the recorded case of Covid-19.
