Trading activity on the Ghana Stock Exchange eased on June 2, 2026, with total turnover falling to GH¢29.05 million in the 7223rd trading session.
According to the GSE official list, investors exchanged 3.08 million shares valued at GH¢29.05 million, down from 5.06 million shares valued at GH¢31.78 million in the previous session.
Market activity was again heavily concentrated in a few counters, with MTN Ghana and GCB Bank accounting for the bulk of traded value.

On the Ghana Alternative Market, Meridian Marshalls Holding Company traded 4,296 shares worth GH¢472.56, while Intravenous Infusions traded six shares valued at GH¢0.60.
The day’s trading pattern shows that liquidity on the local bourse remains concentrated in a narrow group of stocks, particularly MTN Ghana and selected banking counters.
While TotalEnergies provided a strong price lift, the sharp decline in BOPP and losses in SIC Insurance, GOIL and ZEN Petroleum pointed to mixed investor sentiment across the market.
For investors, the signal from the June 2 session is clear: market turnover remains healthy, but the depth of trading is still uneven, with a few large counters carrying most of the activity on the Ghana Stock Exchange.
