Asante Kotoko complete signing of Steven Mukwala
Ghana Premier League Champions, Kumasi Asante Kotoko have signed Ugandan International Steven Mukwala on a free transfer ahead of the new season.
The 23-year old joins the Porcupine Warriors on a two-year deal with the option to extend for a further year.
He is expected to be a replacement for Cameroonian striker Franck Mbella Etouga who is expected to leave the club before the 2022-23 season begins.
He ended the 2020/21 Uganda Premier League season as the top scorer for Uganda Rivers Authority (URA FC) after scoring 14 goals in 24 matches.
Mukwala also scored 13 goals in the just ended 2021/22 Ugandan Premier League for URA FC, finishing as the club’s second top scorer of the season.
