betPawa GPL: Asante Kotoko rally from behind to beat Chelsea; Legon Cities thump Kotoku Royals

Kumasi Asante rallied from behind to secure a 2-1 win over Berekum Chelsea in their Matchday 9 fixture on Wednesday.

The Porcupine Warriors headed into the game from a defeat to Real Tamale United before the World Cup induced break and had the hopes of a win dampened as they were punished for their wastefulness in the first half as Emmanuel Sarpong’s got the opening goal.

Stephen Mukwala scored the much needed goals as Kotoko completed the come back, with the forward registering his second league goal of the seasonin the 66th minute.
