GSE-CI records no movement to commence the week at 3,172 points

The benchmark index of the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE-Composite Index) concluded Monday’s session at 3,172.43 points to return 1.35%.

The GSE Financial Stocks Index likewise remained unchanged ending the day at 1,910.16 points.

Meridian-Marshalls Holdings (MMH) lost GH¢0.01 to close at GH¢0.10. However, market capitalization stayed put at GH¢74.42 billion.

In total, some 199,285 shares (up 465.59%), valued at GH¢124,365.83 (down 40.63%) were traded, as nineteen (19) stocks exchanged hands.

CPC trades dominated Monday’s trading session, trading 67,198 shares and edging MTNGH which traded 60,548 shares valued at GH¢84,767.20.

CAL, ETI, and MMH followed in the activity pile to complete the top 5 traded stocks on the day.
