GSE-CI closes at 2,440 points

The Accra Bourse did not record any change on the first trading  session of the week, as it closed at the same mark as it opened at 2,440.50 points representing a YTD return of -12.51%.

The GSE Financial Stock Index (GSE-FSI) also maintained its value to close  trading at 2,115.61 points translating into a YTD return of -1.68%. 

Five (5) equities traded, ending with no gainer nor decliner as market capitalization for the day settled at GH¢63.48 billion. 

A total of 12,752 shares valued at GH¢25,233.73 was traded on  the day.

Compared with the previous GSE trading day (July 22), Monday’s data shows a 3.15% improvement in volume traded and 39.37% decline in trade turnover.

Ecobank Ghana PLC. (EGH) accounted for 62.49% of the total value traded whilst Scancom  PLC. (MTNGH) recorded the largest volumes traded.
