Ghana vs Nigeria: We’re expecting a fierce match against Ghana, says Ahmed Musa
The general captain of Nigeria, Ahmed Musa says the Super Eagles are expecting a fierce game against Ghana in the 2022 World Cup play-offs.
The first-leg of the play-offs is scheduled to take place at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi on Friday before the second leg in Abuja, four days later.
Ties between the Black Stars of Ghana and the Super Eagles of Nigeria have always turned out to favor the Stars but despite this fact, Musa is confident the Super Eagles can record a victory and qualify for Qatar later this year, stating that this is the only way they can make Nigerians proud after failing to impress at the AFCON.

“We know that this game is not going to be very easy, so we need to give all in the first game to see what we can get before returning to Nigeria for the second leg.” Musa said.
“I know that we will do our best to make Nigerians happy and proud. We wanted to win the AFCON but we had a setback, so the only thing we can do to make Nigerians proud is to qualify for the World Cup,” he added.
The Nigerians are expected to arrive in Ghana on Thursday ahead of the game on Friday.
