GSE-CI remains unchanged for two consecutive days to close at 2,460 points

NewGold (GLD) ended today’s trading session as the sole gainer as it moved up by GH¢7.96 to close at GH¢206.56.

GSE-CI remains unchanged for two consecutive days to close at 2,460 points

Another lackluster session was witnessed at the Ghana Stock  Exchange (GSE) on Tuesdayas the GSE-Composite Index (GSE-CI) on  a two-day running did not record any change at the close of the  trading session.

The GSE-CI did not record any change to close  trading at 2,460.44 points representing a YTD return of -11.79%.

The  GSE-FSI also maintained its level to close at 2,068.16 points, translating into a YTD return of-3.89%. 

NewGold (GLD) ended today’s trading session as the sole gainer as it moved up by GH¢7.96 to close at GH¢206.56.

Activities on the market remained high in volume, value and  transactions over the same period last year. Volume traded was  47,720,862 valued at GH¢51,992,322.29.

Volume traded was up by  56.91%with value increasing by 22.65% compared with same period  last year.

Cumulative volume (1,280,374,211) and value  (GH¢1,289,252,215.60) traded for the year represent an increase of 219.61% and 213.61% over the same period last year.
