Stock market records no gainers and decliners

The Accra bourse did not record any change closing at the same mark as it opened at 2,495.57 points representing a YTD return of -10.53%.

The GSE Financial Stock Index (GSE-FSI) also maintained its value to close trading at 2,170.33 points translating into a YTD return  of 0.86%. 

Wednesday’s trading activities saw nineteen (19) equities traded, ending with no gainer nor decliner as market capitalization for the day settled at GH¢61.52 billion. 

In all, a total of 46,059 shares valued at GH¢6,173.57 was traded on the day.

Compared with the previous GSE trading day Tuesday, June  21, Wednesday’s data shows a 99.26% decline in volume traded and 99.88% decline in trade turnover.

Meanwhile, Scancom PLC. (MTNGH) accounted for 53.53% of the total value traded whilst the Produce  Buying Company Limited (PBC) recorded the largest volumes  traded.
