GSE-CI ends Wednesday’s Session at 4,353 Points to Return 39.09% YTD
The composite index ended the day with a marginal uptick to 4,353.79 points, placing its year-to-date (YTD) higher at 39.09%.
The financial stocks index stayed put at 2,118.06 points, with the YTD return closing at 11.38%.
The market value inched upwards to GH₵91,971.92 billion as TOTAL earned GH₵0.04 to close at GH₵12.40 amidst a GH₵0.05 fall for GLD to GH₵381.26.
In terms of trade activity, there was a 5.53% dip in trading volume from 77,834 shares to 73,527 shares.
Trade turnover fell by 32.48% from GH₵9,553,241.01 to GH₵6,450,375.50 on a day that saw fifteen(15) different stocks trade.
GLD topped the trade activity pile, trading a total of 16,566 shares, valued at GH₵6,316,018.30.
CAL saw only 6,242 shares trade, with a value of GH₵1,935.02.
