53% of voters believe Mahama will beat Bawumia, Alan Kyeremanteng at the 2024 polls – Survey
Fifty-three percent (53%) of surveyed voters across the country believe former president John Mahama will beat Dr Bawumia at the 2024 general elections should he stand as the New Patriotic Party’s presidential candidate.
Should the incumbent Minister for Trade and Industry, Alan Kyeremanteng, however be selected as the party’s presidential candidate for the 2024 polls against Mr Mahama, the survey reveals that 50% of voters believe the former president will emerge victorious from the 2024 general elections.
The survey conducted by Ghanaian research firm, Global InfoAnalytics, indicate that, no matter who emerges as the presidential candidate of the NPP for the 2024 polls, Mr Mahama and the NDC will win the 2024 general elections.
The survey by InfoAnalytics reveal that Ghanaians are generally disappointed in the management of the economy by the incumbent government.
Per the survey, 67% of Ghanaians believe the country under the incumbent government is heading in the wrong direction, 66% of Ghanaians believe the government is not doing enough to fight corruption and 50% of the populace have said the conditions of standard of living have worsened.
